Berries & Ricotta Cheese on Toast

Not very keen on having the same old avocado on toast for breakfast and in need of a fruity kick? This extremely simple breakfast idea only requires 4 ingredients and once you try it, it’s very likely to become your go-to healthy breakfast.

 

Don’t be fooled by the simplicity of this recipe, as its secret lies in the bread: freshly baked 7 seed sourdough from the local market.

Berries & Ricotta Cheese on Toast

Ingredients
  

  • 2-3 slices 7 seed sourdough
  • 150 g ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup raspberries

Instructions
 

  • Slice the bread and grill on each side for 2-3 mins until grill marks form
  • Spread a thick layer of ricotta cheese on the bread, top it with berries and you're ready to go
  • Additionally, you can also drizzle some honey on top
